Incorporation
The Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association is a non-profit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as of May 29th 2007.
Tax-Exempt Status
At this time, the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association is not yet a tax-exempt organization. As such donations made to the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association are not tax-deductible. We are in the process of applying for and receiving tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization dedicated to defending human and civil rights.
Lobbying
Currently the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association does not participate in any direct lobbying activities and focuses almost exclusively on the educational and informational aspect of our mission. Once our tax-exempt status is confirmed we may become involved in lobbying to the extent allowed by law.
