Default Hallam District Court - speeding ticket

So after 15 years of spotless driving I met one of Hallam's finest on Friday...
Has anyone gotten a ticket on rt 30 and been to court to get points reduced?

Always plead not guilty and go to court. I was in Wilkes Barre a few months ago, my in-laws have a boundary dispute with their neighbors and I sat in on the hearing. The hearings are scheduled every 15 minutes or so and all those involved sit in one big courtroom waiting for their case to come up. There had to be 30 speeding/traffic cases and the District Justice reduced charges on ALL except one kid who was a wisea$$.

Driving Record <-- click here, fill it out, pay $5 or $10, print your Driving History out and take it to court.

When you get there the cop will probably want to talk to you before to see why you plead not guilty. Show him the printout, tell him you have never had a ticket in the past 10 years (or whatever the record shows) and ask for leaniency. If you are really ballsy, ask for a 3111. It's about $100 fine and no points. Failure to obey a traffic control device. Cops know what it is, they get their money and you get no points.

If the cop doesn't talk to you before, show the same thing to the judge, although the 3111 thing probably won't work.

Yeh I got one on 30 in hallam like a month agao... they sit on a merge ramp there ... i went to court and just plead not guilty with an explanation and got some 1133 or something like that wich pretty much totally let me off and they mailed me back my fine money..... it was weird when i went to court i jst sat in this little room with the leo and the judge... the leo came up to me when I arrived and asked me why i requested a trial.... I told him I was just trying to beg for leniancy and explained to him my emergency for exceeding the limit and when we went to see the judge he told the judge that he wanted leniancy for me and I got out of it .... I thin the leo felt bad for me when he found out i have 1,000,000.00 dollars in medical bills for the birth of my twins

I have no problem paying the $156 or even 20% more, I just don't want points.

Thanks for the tips guys.

What does Wrightsville do to you?

No, it was a speeding ticket on rt 30. Was on my way with my buddy and two other groomsmen for his wedding rehearsal at luoxmount farms.

you have to watch when exiting 30 east at the Hallam exit, make sure you come to a complete stop at the sign as those little turds site way back near the west bound on ramp and watch for non stoppers. It's like they have nothing better to do then to get people on that petty violation.

The other place they love to sit at is on top of the 30 west bound on ramp at the wrightsville exit, but that isn't usually until around 4pm or to catch the people coming home from work.

Well had my day in 'court'. Judge seemed to not hear anything I said and knocked it down to 3 points instead of 4, thanks...
