Where's everyone at?

I currently live in Pittsburgh, but was born and raised in Oil City. Just thought I'd stop by this section of the board to see what's going on back home.

From the looks of it, not too much is happening up there.

Well, hopefully you all will be able to get out and do some shooting with the weather finally getting nice. I was up to visit some friends last weekend, had a nice fire at my bud's house and got to put a couple hundred rounds through my new gun, so it was a fun weekend.

Hey, thanks for the welcome! This board is great. Good to see some people from back home here, although this section is kind of on the dead side.

If you guys ever have shoots/meets, maybe I'll try to make one. My mom still lives there so I go up to visit every so often and help her with some things around the house.

Cool.....I am kicking around some ideas, here and there......

In the meantime, there is one in North Versailles, the 2nd sunday of every month.....I usually hit that one, along with a couple peeps from New Castle, and Erie.

Sounds like I may have to check the North Versailles one out some time. Is it at the PCMA sportsmens (Pit Carin Monroeville something...whatever it's called) then? I'm not real familiar with the different ranges down here. I usually just go shooting on a friend's land, not so much at the ranges.

If you need a place to shoot, there is an indoor and outdoor pistol range in Pardoe(5minutes from Grove City). You can shoot 24/7 indoor with membership. $45 gets access to indoor and outdoor pistol, 400 yd rifle range, fishing pond, and archery range(coming in July). Check out the website http://www.pardoesportsmens.com
