FWIW, I agree that such a forum would be a good idea, I just don't have the permissions on the site to create it myself. Dan has been pretty busy as of late, but if he's available in the near future I'll ask him about this.

Bill, I generally place the larger pictures on my website and link the pics here, maybe what we could do is have the "group" shoots East and West get together, buy some space and have one person from each end of the state responsable for uploading the pics. Then all they need to do is give the link to the page so the person can link the picture in the post, I do agree there should be a place to place the pics, but some how, it should be the "groups" thing as PAFOA already has a lot to do without managing pics.

Frenchy, I'm not suggesting that the PAFOA Mods manage the area, I'm suggesting creating a new category in the entire forum area called GROUP SHOOT PHOTO's that can maybe be broken down into sub categories for each area in the state.

For example we have a section called "REGIONS" with subcategories for the different area's of the state. (http://www.pafoa.org/forum/regions-3/)

Dan, or whoever can set up a new area, can do the same for a whole new section called Group Shoot Photo's, with subcategories of lets say East, West & Central. Once set up we can individually add photo's to the appropriate area ourselves. This area would just be for group shoot photo's.

If we use the gun photo's section, where it was suggested we place them, once group shoot 7 or 8 happened, and photo's posted, and all the non group shoot gun photo's were posted, it would take a lot of time and effort to locate the photo's from group shoot 4 among all the other gun photo's. An area that wouldn't, hopefully, be filled with tons of stuff to wad through to find the shoot photo's, like in the shoot 6 thread, with over a thousand posts.

See what I'm saying now?

While this would be neat, the last thing we need right now is more forums. We already have way too many. I would say just use the gun pictures one for now since there's guns 'em.

NEVERMIND, I already wrote why the gun pictures section wouldn't be a good place for them.
