Unhappy AdBrite Sux!

I know we can use the advertising money, but damn. Twice this afternoon while clicking on a thread and waiting and waiting for AdBrite the selection timed out.

yea its pretty bad, I was looking at like 30seconds to load a page. I installed adblock today which is a firefox extension and it took them away so all is good. Not sure if you use firefox but if you do that'll fix it for ya

Yessir I'm a FireFoxer. I just don't try to load too many plugins. But I think I'll do this one. Thanks.

There seems to be a consistent, noticeable delay waiting for the AdBrite server to respond...

Not sure if you have a status bar thingy or not, but mine sat on the ads.adbright thing for a loong ass time and in the threads it does it twice because an ad goes under the first post on a page.

Just remember with Adblock plus there will be times it blocks some things you may want. Right click and you can disable on the page or site.

you can just use it to block certain domain names so when a sight tries to load from that domain you can do that...just use *.adbrite.com

I leave the ads there on my work pc because I click on them to help with pay-per-click.

.... and if you have your user cp to show 40 posts per page, it's after the first and then the ad is after every tenth post ....

haven't had any noticeable troubles here though ...
