Your best bet for something like a table is to grab a screenshot of it, then post the image. If you need any help getting that done, PM me.

Also the MS Office suite can export to HTML, that might be a good way to keep formatting intact for things like that.

You can attach an MS Word or MS Excel document to a post. (See below screenshot.) However, DOC and XLS are not allowed file extensions, but ZIP is allowed, so first you must zip your document, then you can post it. For example, I have an MS Word document attached to this post.

Oh, BTW, if you're using MS Office, please be aware that your saved files may contain hidden personal information. E.g., in MS Word, click "File > Properties", and take a look at the Name field. And if you have "allow fast saves" enabled, then deleted text might still be present in your document, but just marked as deleted.

also consider that not everyone can open a specific format of document (ex: MS Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Lotus, etc). Also not everyone would necessarily have a compatible version of the required application even if they had MSWord, for example. For maximum portability use the screen image or a simple text file or a common file format (ex: HTML, RTF)

I am starting to use Google Documents quite a bit now. I work on things at work, and they are usually excel docs. If I want to take them home, I can upload them to Google Docs and have them online anywhere, anytime. So if you did that, you could just make it a public document and let people view it.
Just a thought. As an example, here is a spreadsheet for some engine parts I needed to buy: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...PBtabDPQ&hl=en
