Any way to merge accounts ?

OK here is the deal...........When I originally signed up here I used the screen name cz_40p. I choose that because it is my preferred carry piece. All went fine for a few months. I downloaded and started to use Firefox 3.02 beta. One day when I attempted to sign in I couldn't get through. I figured something was goofy with the web-site. It offered me the option to sign up again. I rejoined using the exact same contact info with a slight variation on the name. I didn't like the way cz_40p looked so I choose CZ40P.

Now I have two different screen names that are almost the same. Sometimes if I use a different browser or just forget I end up signing in the old one. It is getting very confusing. After reading about a user who created multiple accounts for nefarious purposes I had a chance to read up on sock puppetry. I am not a sock puppet. I am not Mary Rosh , I am not Aran.

Is there any way to combine theses two accounts into one. Some of my older posts are important to me and I would hate to loose them

There is no function in vBulletin to do that. We could probably do it by hand, but it's honestly not worth it. Just stop using one of them..

Having two accounts isn't sock puppetry.. Don't worry about it

Thanks Doug..............I was concerned because a few times I somehow ended up using both during a long thread. Kind of looked like I was agreeing with myself.

Of course I do talk to myself in real life so................................................ ..........

If you get 302'd on PAFOA you lose all rights to have gun lists in your sig line

And I would have to change my avatar
