Default How do you get more than 1 quote into your message.

I tried just hitting the mulit-quote button but that did not work and a quick search in the search bar only gave like 1000 threads with multi quotes in them.

So how is this done. Be patient cuz I'm an idiot.

when your clicking the Multi quote button you do that for all except the last one you wan to quote. When you get to the last one you want to quote go ahead and hit the normal quote button and that will take all of the selected ones onto the next page.
Hope that makes sence, please let us know if it doesn't.
Cheers,
Josh

So if I'm reading this right I have to hit multi quote in the original post or posts that I want to show up in my post? I can't just hit quote in a post that already has more than post in it?

Wow! I hope THAT make sense.

Thanks for the info though.

Dave.

WOW, I like a day when I learn something new, I didn't even know we had a multi quote button, never noticed it until this thread when I looked for it.

The way I was multi-quoting was to click "quote" on each individual post, copy the quote to "notepad" then back out and go to the next post I wanted to quote and repeat, a long tedious process.

Thanks Josh and BB for opening my eyes to this feature +20 to ya both.

That makes 2 of us. (At least, I'll bet there are a lot more). I didn't know what that little icon was either, and I guess I was too lazy to park my pointer on it for a few seconds to see what info was there.
I wasn't using notepad though, I'd open a new browser window and go to the same thread, click the quote button, then copy and paste into the one I started with.

Number four here! I used multiple tabs in Firefox to make it a little smoother than what Sober did, but the "right" way to do it is certainly easier!
