Rosko Packer is on a distinguished road
Default slugs

I have both 12g and 410 guns but I also have a 28. It seems to me that a 28 slug would be someting SOMEONE would produce (the loaded ammo, not just the slug itself). I have yet to find any such animal on the market. Ya, I know I should just get into reloading and make my own, but that's for a later date. Is there some reason (considering the wide array of specialty/wierd cartridges and such a person can find) that no one produces a commercial 28 slug "round"? Maybe they're out there and I just have'nt been able to find them. Gimme the wisdom please!

Default Re: slugs

FWICG nobody is producing 28 gauge slugs at this time. There are several companies that sell the slugs and wads to reload your own or you can check gun shows for them.

Default Re: slugs

Most of the 28ga guns I've seen had tight chokes. ...which dont respond well to slugs. Its not a good thing to try to swage a solid of one diameter through too tight of a hole.
