Remington 870 Question

I have a Remington 870 2 3/4" Wingmaster and I would like to find a Wingmaster (Blued - not matte) Deer Barrel with a Cantilever scope mount that has an Improved Cylinder/Rem Choke. I know that the closest thing that Remington currently makes is either (a) Fully Rifled or (b) Special Purpose Finish (matte blue). My goal is to shoot the rifled slugs with a scope for the 75-100 yard distance and easily be able to switch between the barrels.

I have spoken to a few guns shops in the area but I've been told the only way to find this barrel is used. I would just like to confirm that this barrel actually exists outside of my imagination!

I don't think such a creature exists. I'm almost certain that all Remington and Hastings blued cantilever barrels are rifles and the only way to get a smooth bore is to get the rifle sights.

Thanks - That explains why I was having such difficulty finding one at gun shops and the internet!

why do you want a smooth bore? I shoot an 870 with a mosserg aftermarket rifled barrel that is really accurate.

I didn't realize the Mossberg barrel would work with the 870, so i'll have to check that out. What mossberg barrel do you have?

I grew up hunting with the 870 and now have my own.... No offense to the Mossberg crew, but the 870 just seems to be more durable. I have checked midway but I am inclined to agree with penguinland's conclusion above... (I also checked every other significant online retailer I could think of/find).
