Default Quick access safe?

I am thinking about purchasing a 12ga SG/pistol grip for home defense. The question is what kind of safe would be good for quick access as well as theft protection/kid proof?

BTW. Price is a major consideration.

Easier to use a shotgun in HD situations and you dont have to worry nearly as much about bullet penetration in walls. #2 (I think, do research before taking my word on this one) #1 or #0 Buckshot is adequate for HD and wont go through too many walls (safer for the other people in your house).

You can save a lot of money if you don't need the safe to be fireproof. How much are you looking to spend (this will help in researching) but most stack-on safes are really nice and you can get an 8gun non-fireproof one for around.. 130 dollars I think. You can just set the combo before you go to bed and open it when you need to use it, just make sure to turn the combo lock when you dont need it to be readily accessible.

Bingo (it was 220 or so online though, a little more than I thought, but this is most likely what I will be buying for my rifles)

Thanks Ophidian. Looks like the Stack-on safes are a good option.
I am however a bit confused by this line in their ad.
"Not recommended for storing CDs or other electronic storage devices"
