Hello,
I'm looking to modify my Remington express super mag 870 a bit. I know that it's ILLEGAL to have anything less than an 18" barrel. What else would be illegal? Pistol grip? Folding stock? 8 round mag? What about illegal shotgun ammo? I dont know of any. Thanks in advance for any information!

Overall length of less than 26, too. Who cares about grips...

No. 2 son has a Saiga 12-gauge semiautomatic shotgun with folding butt stock, pistol grip and 10-round magazine. He's thinking about getting the 20-round drum magazine. ALL LEGAL IN PENNSYLVANIA

Sweet
What are the specs on collapsible/folding stocks? 26" fully open or 26" at smallest modified point? I hope I made sense there :P

I'm not the most informed on this, but can't you just pay for a tax stamp to legally own one of those?

Yeah. You have 3 options or more... 1. order one thru Serbu & C3 FFL - they will build it from a pistol grip/virgin receiver as an AOW = $5 transfer tax to you + gun costs($600'ish) 2. you can do the same with a pistol grip/virgin receiver and pay a $200 tax for creation of a AOW 3. you can shorten any buttstock shotgun to such lengths and pay a $200 tax for creation of a SBS. |

and you can legally own that?! So $800 max and you can legally own that?!
