Benelli guns are well made, I used to shot a 20ga for clays...and I loved that gun.

For the tactical, you have the shell-cutoff feature, so it makes the "select slugs" easier that with other options, AFAIK.

Many people like the ghost ring sights on shotguns...chromed crio-treated barrel...what's not to like?

I've owned several Benelli shotguns including 2 Novas and 1 supernova no problems with them at all. All around great guns.

I have one and love it.
If there is a downside it is that if you love to hang tacticool stuff on it there is not as big an aftermarket as there is for the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500/590.

You asked about the price......399 is decent. My local dealer had one for 380 with the ghost ring sights, but that was about a year ago. Considering it is a year later, and you live in Delco (I live in Carbon county, where everything is cheaper), I would think 399 is reasonable.

I've had my Supernova for about a year. Great gun, very reliable and solidly built, although a little on the heavy side.

I love it, but I don't know I'd buy another for just one reason: the biggest problem is finding accessories - every gun store near me will have Remington, Browning, Mossberg accessories but rarely Benelli. It took me a lifetime to get hold of a turkey choke for it.
