New to forum and new to shotguns
Hey guys, a buddy gave me an old single shot 16 gauge shotgun. It has "The Sportsman" and "Cleveland" stamped on the side. Another co worker told me he believes it is a Savage model. I took it apart and sanded all the old varnish off, and tung oiled the stock and forend. I repaired a small crack in the stock, and cleaned up the metal. On the barrel it is stamped-"U.S arsenal steel". Can anyone give me some info on this gun? I don't have the ability to post pictures. Thank you.
