Default Winchester Model 37A

Hi-Just been given 12 ga but it needs a new barrel--any suggestions? Have tried usual sources--Numerich,etc. Also how does the forearm come off? Want to refinish stock. Thanks-Security502

For parts try www.jacksfirstgun.com the Winchester 37A is on page 565, the part number is 173 for a barrel, if they have them. To get the forearm off you just pull down on the tip of it, pops right on and off. Calling them is the best contact method, the catalog is pricey but huge, 3 volumes worth.
