Default Shotgun History

I was wondering if any of you would know where to find some information on my great-great-grandfather's shotgun. I know it is a Bridge Gun Company Shotgun with serial number 4304. It is a 12 gauge two barrel with two trigger gun. It has writing on it saying "Daminated Figure Belgium." It also has some artistry that has what I found to be the stamp for being Belgian made. I am pretty sure it isn't worth a whole lot because of it being a Bridge Gun Company gun (maybe $100 or so). It isn't in the greatest condition but still seems to function properly. I was mainly wanting to know what year it was made and is there any way to find out who bought it? I am wondering if it was bought new in my family. Any other background on the gun would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can Google the name and that should give you a starting point.. I did this on an old shotgun (105 yrs old) and it got me headed in the right direction.

I tried to google it several times and can't seem to get a good answer. I think I am going to have to go into a library to get more information. I didn't know if you guys would have any good sites to go to or any books at your homes to help out with.

This is where you should go to ask a question about an old shotgun. If the guys on here don't know about it you might be out of luck

You might contact http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/index.html if they cant get history on some thing, then no one can.. PS, they will give you a realistic value also.
