oh man!! So much material!!

*This guy has brought arms design backwards by 150 years!

*Does it come with the add-onn to use as a trumpet?

* you could put that barrel up to your mouth for the most massive spit-ball in the history of mankind. I imagine this would have to be a group effort.

* "..the barrel acts as a megaphone.." I wonder if it has a concussion area of effect?

*I can imagine firing it and all your windows blow out.

*"Clown costume and oversize shoes sold separetly"

* You could shoot a duck through it.

*"Also compatible with Howitzer shells"

*"Also doubles as an old-school hearing aid!!"

*Finally!!! I have found a shotgun I can...... make loooooove to!

Really who would want a pattern that much bigger for HD use?

Now instead of hanving a thight pattern on the BG, I can shoot him and everything around him, my TV, my walls, stereo, two cats...you get the point.

i have a very similar model, but with an iron barrel, you do know that the bell muzzle is designed for fast reloading and not pattern spread, right?

Yep, and there isn't much in print about why this is (reloading while moving = vibration). Another theory is that facing the business end of a flared muzzle would be more intimidating. Like many designs, there was likely more than one simple reason.

The most commonly used "wadding" was grass compacted into sort of a thick mat. Sounds like you read The Blunderbuss 1500-1900 by James Forman.
