Default Who stocks 7.5x55 (7.5 Swiss)?

Looking for a shop that carries it within an hour drive of central Lancaster County.

I called Backwoods Outfitters, Trop, Kinsey's, The Sportsman's Shop, Trout Run, Enck's, Richland Shooters, and Gun Traders.

Here's what I found...two places have Hornady, pricey, but what are you going to do...$20-$25 per box of 20. One place, here in Ephrata, has Prvi Partizan for $21 something which seems ridiculous since it's about $11 per 20 rounds online. The Hornady stuff at $20+ seems to be the norm.

I can drive all the way to Cabela's to get Wolf with boxer-primed reloadable brass for $15.99 + tax per box of 20. Doesn't look like Bass Pro has any of it, but I'm going to call to check it out since I'll be in a hotel down the street tomorrow night.

Any ideas or suggestions? I'm surprised no one has any of the GP11 surplus in stock. Any other local shops I'm missing?

I'd like to support the local shops first, but I can't find anyone who is carrying reasonably priced stuff. I can get Prvi Partizan with reloadable brass online for for about $0.63/round shipped. Seems to be the best I can find with reloadable brass.

I don't mind paying a little more than that to get it locally and support local shops, but I'm not interested in paying double for the same ammo at over $1/round. The local shop with Prvi Partizan is just shy of $24/box after tax. No thanks.

You won't find it stocked and/or reasonably-priced at a shop near you.
Online buying works best for this.
Sportsmans Guide is good for GP11.
Aim is best for PRVI (~$11 a box)
If you want to keep your $ in PA, dansammo has GP11 for probably the 2nd best price online next to Sportsmans Guide..

I made a list of places to find out who deals online and who has the best prices. AIM Surplus has the best prices on boxer-primed reloadable brass. DansAmmo has the best price I could find on GP11, actually the best price over all, but the GP11 is Berdan primed.

Cabela's actually has the best price on Wolf that I could find, but it's about $0.85/round after tax and that's not including my expense to get there and back. BassPro doesn't carry it at all.

The local guy who is doing the transfer for my on the rifle, I'll post a review of the process after all is said and done, can get me Prvi Partizan for about a dime per round more than AIM Surplus, but I think he told me that's at a 0% margin...not sure how he can spend time ordering me ammo if he's not making anything on it though.

Enck's Gun barn has it. It's where I normally shop for my k31 ammo. If I recall correctly it's wolf gold and runs about $15 a box. He also has some Hornady 7.5 x 55 for a little bit more. Enck's should be about 20 - 30 minutes away from Ephrata.

Just in case you were unaware, in 7.5 Swiss, Prvi, Wolf Gold and FNM are all the same stuff and made by Prvi.

Brad, thanks for the recommendation. Enck's only has the Hornady stuff, no FMJs, no GP11 surplus, no Wolf, nothing. To be honest with you, I've only been there twice, including tonight, and I'll never go back.

Thanks, I did not know that.

OK, I found a dealer in Lancaster who can get me an order of this ammo, exactly what I want, 174 gr. boat tail FMJ in boxer primed, reloadable brass for a mere $2.45 more (includes shipping and tax) than what I would be paying to get it from AIM Surplus. I have no problem paying a couple extra bucks to support a local dealer. Once all is said and done, I'll be posting a review about this dealer.
