Default AR-15 Vendors I've delt with during my build

Anvil Arms: Made me a fantastic lower at a great price, a small chip by the pivot pin but not enough to worry about.

I would order again without hesitation. www.anvilarms.com

Midwaysusa: Cheapest shipping of any vendor during the whole transaction process, was like 3 bucks shipping for a charging handle, forward assist and ejection port door. Took 3 days to arrive.

I would order again without hesitation. www.midwayusa.com

Bushmaster: I ordered a whole sight assembly from them for which they only shipped me a knob. I ordered from midway/bushmaster on the same day and BM shipped via fedex while midway shipped usps. Not only was BM 4 dollars more for shipping it took 8 days to arrive, then when it arrived there were most of the parts missing. I called their customer service last week to have them ship me the missing parts...which still have not arrived.

I would think hard before ordering from them again. www.bushmaster.com

Model1Sales: I ordered my buffer parts and a firing pin from them. When I ordered over the phone the lady gave me my total and I asked if that included shipping to which she replied yes. I checked my bank statement after the parts arrived (average ship time) and found it was ~10 more (shipped usps). I called to ask and they said it was the shipping charge and offered no help beyond that. Not only was I lied to about shipping charges they're upcharging people on USPS postage shipping, it doesnt cost 10 bucks to ship those parts.

I would not order from them again. www.model1sales.com

Warner's Surplus: Board member here, gave me a great price on my lpk and shipped same day.

Would order without an ounce of hesitation again.

Sherluk Marketing: Got my barrel/gas tube from them, has not arrived yet, will post impressions once here.

Gun Runners of PA: Used Todd for my transfer, stand up guy. Wouldn't use anyone else for transfers.

I didn't mention jacks black rifle shop because he never called me back in the 2-3 times I left messages for him, and that's not counting the emails.

I wanted to give him my money, but it seemed like he didnt care. I even waited a week after he had returned from his vacation but he never called me back.

So while I didn't buy anything from him, I probably will never buy anything from him or reccomend him.

I've had good dealings with Sherluk Marketing out of ohio. not a flashy website, but give them a call and they have what you need. They usually do most of the gun shows, including knob creek. nice people to deal with.

I spoke with them today to find out what the deal with my order was, they took my number and told me they would call me once they knew...5 mins later I was told im shipping in a few days as 16" barrels are having a hard time staying on the shelves there...says people are ordering more because they're worried about an upcoming ban.

Can't blame em.

Nice folks....my new barrel source...for my...next upper. Dont tell my fiance!

Great write up!!! I will probably be purchasing again from Anvil Arms. Their upper and lower fit real nice and tight!!! Happy customer here too!!

Midwayusa has also received a few of my orders and most likely several more.

I have made a few purchases (rear sight, front sight and mags) from Aimsurplus and have been extremely happy!!

Who is this Gun Runners of PA you speak of?

Will be using him on my next purchase too. Great guy!!

Does Warners Surplus have a website? Saw him post on here many times. Just wondering.

Warners has a site but it's more so a reference and has a few things on it. They're great guys, easy to deal with and had a great price. If you need something I wouldn't hesitate to at least call him to check...I spoke with Steve over the phone and Rich via PM here.

They have a killer phone number too

1-877-762-GUNS (762...gotta love it)
