Default Tula AK?

All the AK talk got me to thinking. Is there (was there) ever a Tula AK47? How about one with a Laminated Stock?

Default Re: Tula AK?

I'll take 2 cases next time your out and about

This is the arsenal list http://www.ak-47.us/AK47_Factories.php
Wolf runs their ammo out of the Tula Plant.

More likely than not there probably aren't any in the U.S. TULA definately had to make AKs, it was/is one of the largest manufacturing facilities in the country.

When the USSR collapsed the satellites started selling off their old stuff (See movie: Lord of War) since no one was in charge. Notice all the AK's out there / AK parts kits, they are almost all satellite states. Either because there was no one really in control, because of upgrading weapons, or they were shipped to other countries and are now being resold. Russia itself seemed to remain somewhat intact. Norinco/Poly are in the business of making any money they can since they are owned by the PLA. Those are my assumptions, might be wrong, but I have never seen a Russian AK for sale (I'm not counting sole import guns, Saigas, etc). I have two Romanians and two Hungarians.
