I will have to see if there is a copy that is available. All that I remembered was an article in the Rifleman.
One of the stories that I heard was that a 6.5 was rechambered for 30.06 and the guy brought it to the gunsmith because it kicked so much harder than his friends. Picture the chamber pressure on swegding a .308 through a .264 barrel.
