If you want to use it for hunting in PA forget the Ruger 10/22 since semi-autos are still verboten as a hunting arm here. That being said both the CZ and the Savage are very good choices! The best part is these are rifles your kids can keep and use for life and probably pass on to their own kids!

Have fun!

I really like the CZ's. My father in law has one and I might have to get one myself!

I am a big fan of the 10/22 rugers. But agian the hunting problem!

OK, I think I am gonna go with a pair of Savage Mark II's. They seem to be the best deal right now. I need one to be synthetic and the other to be laminate or hardwood. Now where would the best place East of Pittsburgh be to find them cheap? I know Wally World stocks some in Mt. Pleasant, but I hate to give them any more business. I did call and the gun lady said they keep the synthetic Mark II's without the accutrigger?? for $118! Good price, but must be old stock without the accutrigger...

If you guys spot any deals at any local fun stores, let me know! I need to get a couple before Christmas.
