Get the Tapco SAW-style grip, it's bigger, I like the shape better, and it has a compartment with a door. Around $20 or so.

Be aware that the safety detent and spring will be at risk when the grip is removed. No problem, just make sure you dont lose them. I've sold some pins and repaired some rifles after the owner replaced the grip.

Thanks Steve. I have read about that happening.

The falcon ergo grip is bigger than a stock grip and is very comfortable in the hand. I think it comes in soft and hard rubber variations. I personally prefer the softer type. It also has internal storage. Price is approximately $30.

The magpul miad modular grip comes in a basic and full set. The basic has two front straps and three back straps for about $35. The full kit has four front straps (one with an integral enhanced trigger guard) and three back straps for about $45. The possibilities of its configuration virtually guarantee you a perfect fit. I bought the full kit and used the largest back strap, now the pad of my finger is on the trigger instead of the bottom of my knuckle.

I was thinking about the CAA UPG16 grip that has 6 different inserts or the magpul. My buddy has the magpul and I like it but I decided to go with the CAA grip.
All I have to say is he switched his to the CAA. The only thing I like better about the magpul grip in the internal insert that can hold another back up bolt and firing pin. Just my two cents. |
