Default Golani semi-auto Sporter rifle cal.223

Years ago I owned a Galil 223. It was a very well made rifle. My Godson really liked it so I eventually gave it to him. I had read about the Golani being a copy of the Galil so when I saw one at Dunhams I decided to get it. It shoots about the same as the Galil that I had. I just came back from the range. I wanted to get it broke in before I sight it in. I took some of every type 223 that I had and also some that was rusted, tarnished, and in very poor shape. Some of it was so bad that I had intended to pull the bullets, soak it in WD-40 and throw it away. All in all I had a little over 600 rounds. The Golani did not miss a beat, as it shot everything without one problem. I just finished cleaning the rifle and I see that it is really very well made. I know that a lot of you guys don't like products from century but I think that this rifle is worth the 799 I paid for it.

Your Golani story echoes what I have read on other boards about "Century's Galil" - a decent gun for the buck.
