Pector;

I just saw you're in Dover. E-mail me and maybe we can get together and compare, shoot or whatever.

Hey Dave,

I did reply to your PM a while back. I go shooting at West Shore with one of my children nearly every Sunday afternoon. It's easy to find me wanting to go shooting.

I haven't ordered one yet but I really want to get one soon. I like the m44, but the bayonet, it is nice and all, but it just feels unbalanced to me, even with the bayo out. The 38 looks like a clean cut boomer of a gun.

If I were a hunter, I believe I would put a small scope on the M38 and use it. Like you said, the added weight of the bayonet isn't something I would want to carry around.

I just got my Nagant pistol and my 91/30 hex receiver. JGSales said they don't accept faxed FFLs so I'm going to mail mine in and get the M38 to keep the Mosin collection growing.
