I've been dreaming about a CZ 550 FS for a couple years now. Only thing holding me back is that I've never seen real pics and wonder about the quality of the wood. Got pics? Also not familiar with 308 cal. My initial thought would be 6.5x55 Swedish or 9.3x62. I love both calibers despite the price. What do you like about the 308? Thx Dan

I don't know how to download pictures to a reply. My Ruger M-77MKII ultra-light is 6 pounds with scope.First shot from a cold barrel is in the X. Available in different calibers,long and short action. MADE IN AMERICA!

For American made I would agree with this only in 6.5 X 55;
