It was my understanding that like the 6.8spc the 6.5 was designed to work with the 223 lower. I did not know that it would work with the 223 upper however as I have only seen the whole uppers for sale.

so while looking for .308 uppers i remembered about the .50 beowulf i read about in a magazine. when i went to alexander arms site, i found the 6.5 grendel round. i looked at the ballistics table for it and i was pretty damn impressed. has anyone ever shot one of these out of an AR before?
