Default USPDA, IDPA, ICORE intruction in Southeastern PA?

I'd like to get myself and my son involved. I'm a novice shooter, and I'd like us both to get some instruction before we start to develop bad habits. I'm thinking stances and grips, etc.

Can anyone help us here with ranges/clubs? I'd prefer an outdoor club.

Thanks!

You can check out the USPSA and IDPA websites for club info in your area. I'm on the opposite side of the state and don't know anyone on that side of PA. There is a very nice club in York if that's not too far that I know hosts USPSA matches and may have others.

Also another site to check out that may get you in touch with folks in that area is http://www.brianenos.com/forums lots of great folks and information can be found there.

Classic Pistol, In Feasterville, runs a Action Pistol like match every month.

One of the senior shooters there, DIck Reinheimer, teaches a very useful defensive pistol trilogy, based on his training with Dave Spaulding, among others, and his experiences in IDPA.

Check out the "training" subdirectory for an old notice about Dick's course.
