Default Target World closing ?

My stepson went to TW in Chalfont Bucks County yesterday to shoot a bit. He inquired about memberships and was told they are only doing 3 month memberships max because they are closing due to redevelopment of the strip they are located in.
Anyone else heard this?

Yes, i heard he same thing when i re uped my membership. But, the way i heard it was they were going to be moving it down the road a bit. It did not sound as though they were closing forever.

I live right behind Target World. WaWa has purchased that whole corner and will be putting in a new WaWa with gas pumps and probably a bank or pharmacy also. I don know exactly when but I was told earlier this year it was about two years away.

Was just on the phone with them yesterday about it, and what I was told was that they have plans to relocate, but it's not definite yet.

Was there this morning. Looks like closing sometime around April '09. They thought November this year but got moved back. My guess: Red Tape
Looking for new building close by and obviously there will be LOTS of red tape to rebuild. JMHO

Call it karma, but their prices have always (in my two trips there) been totally off the wall anyway. If I lived in that neck of the woods, I'd be elsewhere, for sure.
