Greater Pittsburgh Gun Club Closed Again

I drove out to GPGC to get in a few hours of practice this afternoon. I was very surprised to find the baricades closed and locked. I called several fellow members to determine the reason. Only one knew anything about it.

I don't imagine it's right to repeat an unsubstantiated story so all I'll say is according to the person I spoke with, there were more legal issues and law enforcement officials ordered the club closed.
Hard to imagine them coming back from this one.
It's been obvious to me that the faciity was lacking direction, guidance and capital monies since it reopened. It was falling further into a state of unsafe disrepair. There was seldom more than 5 or 6 shooters present and there seemed to be no effort to market the facility. Something as simple as a web site was never made available after reopening. It's really too bad, it was a great place to shoot at one time.
