Range at Broad Mnt. SGL 141 Closed

The Range SGL 141 will be closed for Lead remediation. That range is on SR - 93 Between Nesquehoning & Beaver Meadows, PA. It will reopen by the end of the month!!!!!!!!

If it just closed it will not be open by the end of the month...trust me i live near 2 ranges that are under going the same thing dauphin and carlisle and they have been closed for over 3 months

I just called the PGC and they expect the range to be closed for at least another 6 weeks.

I drove by this range a couple of days ago, and it's still closed. Sign said remediation started June 30 and will be down for a month, OR until remediation/repairs are complete.

I was talking to my buddy who works for the SGL & He Said This:

We are working on the plans and specifications for the reconstruction of the ranges on SGL #141. The project should be out to bid by the end of this week (August 15th). We estimate that the range will be reopened in mid-September. The entire range will be reconstructed with new backstops and stone paths to the target lines. The protective side berms will be improved and we will be adding stone surfacing at the shooting tables and benches. These changes will improve the safety and should provide a better shooting experience."
