FCO Range Closed Today...

Went to FCO today and found that the range was closed...took the day off work to have some fun...told range down for repairs.

Guy at range said maybe open tomorrow or weekend...so call first before you go.

Our range is open now. We needed to do repairs on the range and had to work around the contractors schedule. We posted advance notice of the closing at the range as soon as we had the dates. Sorry for any inconvience that was caused by the closure.

The welds on the backstop were splitting again. That's why there were three lanes shut down. We had them repaired recently but it was not a very good job. The welder we hired this time redid the seams in all the backstops, not just the ones that needed repair. He did a fine job and guaranteed his work.

If there are any more scheduled closings in the future, I'll post here as soon as I find out.

Thanks much for the information on the repairs and your offer to post here any closings.

I was able to get down to FCO last week for the first time and had a wonderful time. I hope to make it to the range about once a week or more.
