SGL 43 RANGE CLOSED
I went to the SGL 43 range this morning for some target shooting and was unpleasantly surprised by multiple "range closed until further notice" signs. Anyone know what's going on?

Is that the one up by French Creek? If so, I just emailed the PGC today about that range. The response I got back was that it was currently open but would be closed soon for lead remediation. I guess they closed sooner than expected.

I was there on friday, and the signs said that the range would be closed on 6/16 until further notice.
I was told by a warden the week before that they are closing for lead remediation. He did not know how long the process would take but he guessed about 6 weeks. I was planning on going after work this week, so I hope that it is still the 16th

Last week I saw the sign at SGL 43 saying "range closed on 6/16"
If anyone is near by, can you confirm that the range is really closed this week? Did they start the lead remediation project yet?

I used to frequent that range in my younger days, but joined a club because it just got too crowded with idiots from Philly. I called it quits there the day I saw those who I dubbed "the representatives from the bloods and crips", gang banging with their 4-5.'s, nines, and duece dueces, all with the sideways shooting stances, and George Jefferson gaits. I never went back.

SGL 205 is closed for lead remediation according to the site.
