Tracers have a habit of setting ranges on fire. I've seen it on 4 or 5 separate occasions, my dad lit a hill on fire with just a few rounds of .30 Carbine, and I've seen at lest a few others while in the service.

Out of curiousity, why would you want to be shooting tracers? Most outdoor ranges will be closed after sundown, so you won't get that great of a light show.

In-door ranges probably won't allow it due to the magnesium and other materials, but I can't guarantee it.

Personally I dont get a whole lot of jazz from tarcer, but I have a bunch I would like to sell. It's old stuff (German WW2) so it would be helpful if I could verify that it actually traces.

Ahh well, guess it will just be Caveat Emptor.

Most ranges have a no tracer rule due to fires on dry brush.

Your best bet is private land.
