Default SGL #206

My wife and I got out for our first "official" range trip of the year. Hit the range at SGL #206......not a soul around! Range was in good shape, at least the target frames haven't been shot up..........yet. And except for .22lr brass......we only found a handful of .40cal brass on the ground. Everything else must have been picked clean.

Only two range picks today.

My wifes target. She was shooting a S&W 6906 (9mm) and a Ruger MkII Target (.22lr)

My target. Shooting a Sig P220. Told my wife I wasn't on my game today. She looked at my target and said............I don't want to hear it!

I was a bit off. Guns was a bit unsteady. Need more range time

Some nice shooting by the both of you.
Just wanted to know what kind of back stop is at that range, by the look of the picture I see woods behind with no berm? Maybe you just relocated the target to take the pics. I don't know which game land this is so help me out,
just curious.

I only see a couple shots that were off. What distance were you shooting?

15 yards. I started getting lazy and dropping a round or two, hence the lower shots. Handgun accuracy is a diminishing skill. More range time!! Even though the center (although a tad to the right) is shot out, I still felt "shaky" for lack of a better term. More range time!!

I've been sneaking up to the local closed landfill during work and shooting a few mags to get the rust off, but I'm going to midnights next. While getting in some night fire would work for me.....I don't think its going to work out.

The picture is deceiving. The dirt you see is the berm. Here is a better picture from last year.

My wife and I hit the range again today. Great weather and a great day to be out. Only one young man was shooting on the range when we got there. Looked like he was shooting a 1911 style pistol. He shot for a while then left. Another shooter came down to sight in what looked like a T/C Encore rifle.

My wife and I shot for a couple of hours. I shot a little better today, although my shots were off to the left to start. I had over-adjusted my sights last night, but luckily I brought my sight pusher with us to the range.

I was shooting my P220, Diane was shooting a S&W 6906, then switched over to a S&W 19 .38 snubby.
