Thinking of joining PMSC

Hello, my roommate and I are sick of the irresponsible shooting at the SGL ranges. After reading here it sounds like PMSC would be a nice place for us to join. I understand there's a group shoot coming up. If I make him sign up here can we go to the group shoot to check the club out? Or is there a better way to get a "tour"?

Also, the website says you need to have a member refer you, but here it says that this isn't the case. Which is correct?

And here's another biggie. Being college students we aren't in the Pittsburgh area year round. We won't be able to make all the meetings year round that the website says are required. Will this give us trouble?

Yes, there is a group shoot every second sunday of the month, your more thatn welcome to come. Yes your freind needs to be a pafoa member to come. Yes, you can check the club out. Is there a better way to check out the club, IDK.

If you want to join, you do not have to have a member refer you. You also do not have to make the monthly meetings. So there is no trouble.
