they used to let us shoot FA there, was back in 2002-3 maybe...with a group of folks, one of which was on the club board, and ran thier old website.
never had any real complaints to us that werent kind of a "my mini14 is ok, but those guys fire a MACHINEGUN!"(hey, my m16 is the same caliber, just as loud sparky)

some guy on the board wanted to keep copies of our form 4s with the club records, we declined, explaining that this now leaves us open to possible theft issues, not to mention these are tax records.
So, if they wanted copies of the F4s, they would have to supply each of us shooters with a copy of thier last years 1040s....we'd be happy to keep them as safe as they said our F4s would be.

we always shot with cops too, always happy to let others shoot the MGs, never caused a problem tht I know of...at least at the shoots i attended.

the 50 guys built thier own noise abatement shields for the 50s, and a special 50cal bullet trap...

problem is the hillside this place is on, if the clouds are low, the noise seems to double up and be louder.

West Shore - full auto. The rules will stay the same. Law enforcement or permission of the board.

Now the good news: Here's what it looks like the board approval will consist of: Those wanting to shoot full auto will meet with the soon to be appointed Class III committee chairman who will give a short 'course' on the dos and don'ts of full auto at west shore. The applicant will then shoot their class III safely and accurately as the 'final exam' - your membership card will then be stamped Class III or something similar and off you go. You then will have approval from the board to shoot full auto whenever you want with some range rules to be followed.

There may be a nominal fee associated with the stamp, but if there is, it will be very nominal.

The new board takes office 1/1/07 - look for this to be voted on at the January meeting.
