seems the wife is willing to protect herself now/ she has her carry permit /
what are the woman shooting with ? and what do i start her with????????
i have an xd9 service to start her with and i can get her whatever she needs / JUST WHAT?

The starter gun that was reccommended to me was the Bersa Thunder 380. It's is a low priced gun that is big enough to use easily and small enough to carry. I am a guy but thats the gun I'll start my wife with if/when she becomes interested.

I can almost guarentee if you pick it out she won't like it. So take her to a good guns store and let her find one that passes her fondle test. If it's her's it's got to fit her not someone else. If you can find somewhere to rent her top two or three choices that would be even better.
