Looking for a Local Dealer who lets you try
Hey guys, i turn 21 in 15 days and i completely have no idea with what to get, ive been talkin to a few of you guys in the chatroom but for the ones i didnt talk to is there any local gunshop in NEPA, Wilkes-barre / Scranton / Hazleton Area that lets you Test the gun before you buy, so i can get a feel for what .cal i should get that best fits me.

You need to find a local range that rents guns. I don't think your going to find a dealer that will just randomly let you shoot his guns.

I know this can be a PITA. I have traded and sold more pistols than I care to say. I would suggest just finding a gun that fits well in your hand and is comfy to hold. Worry about caliber once you find a platform you like.

i been told there is a range in tannersville where u can rent guns...don't qoute me on that..i never been there...just was told about it...what they said about comfort is the key..i love my glocks..i have the 19/27..but i know people who hate them....good luck and happy birthday

While you dont rent them they let you shoot the guns they have under supervision ... only problem is they aren't going to have the selection of handguns you would see in a shop.
