Are there any charges which can be listed for when a officer stops a person for OCing? (i.e. "thats not right you're OCing, its illegal.. yada yada yada" *detains person for 15 minutes*)
Also, can police also be charged with pointing a deadly weapon at a person? (i.e. waving my own gun around, which the muzzle actually covers my legs for a 1-5 seconds, seizing the firearm, my properly on my person*wallet and other items*, laying my firearm condition one on the top of a tire pointing towards the other officers on scene and towards traffic, not clearing the weapon when asked upon returning it to me... he must really want a DEA agent incident) Or do I just list what happened, what the officer did which just wasn't right at all, and allow them to figure out what the charges are for the officer in question? Please ignore PisnNapalm, P-11 shooter, and P89's trolling. Trying to obtain information, not be victim of internet trolling. Last edited by gunperson003; August 11th, 2008 at 03:53 PM. |

Welcome back. I think you would file a complaint in detail. Then the DA would decide if charges would be filed. Just my .02

I would send a leaflet about proper gun safety and handling written for children to the department with the officers name on it as well.

D: I don't want the officers to get in trouble, exonerated would be better if they actually do get something against their record which could hurt their career. It would be a waste of money to do anything else, retraining and or a good talking to is much cheaper. I only wish it was possible to do the same like with the state troopers here in Alaska, unfortunately I do realize Pittsburgh is a much better place where issues might just get pushed aside for the officer's beliefs.

A little bit more detail may be required...what am I saying...nevermind.
Are you being charged with anything like impersonating an police officer? Just wondering. |

No, why would you ask something odd like that?

I thought a person wasn't supposed to divulge all the details to the public until an incident is throughly investigated so no biased view could be concluded?
