Just wanted to add I am another female who HATES purses!!! I carry my wallet with my keys attached.
I MAY be buying a Glock 19, tried it yesterday and really preferred it to the Kahr. The Kahr is much easier to conceal and as a skinny chick I am going to have some challenges in concealing no matter what gun I choose. I am really hoping to not go to a purse, I have not carried one in 6 years. I have heard of women buying the hunting vests and carrying in that. More my style since I ride in vests with the horses, I always have a knife and extra safety stuff while riding.

Sounds like your husband is a bit of an ass. Sorry you have to deal with that. I found www.corneredcat.com to be very helpful in bringing my ex-girlfriend over to the gun friendly side of the fence. my wife carries at about 2 o clock . she carries a purse ( not shoulder strap ) filled with junk . just a decoy . usually a perp will grab a purse & run . if he doesn,t it gives her a little time to get in action

Explain to your hubby that women's pelvis' are wider and flatter for childbirth. If you picture that you can see why 10-2 would feel more comfortable as opposed to 3 and 9.
