Default Question regarding carry laws and gun paperwork?

I have a question.

Am I allowed by law to carry my girlfriends gun? We live in the same house and the address is the same for all of the paperwork for our guns and our LTCF's. We are just not married.

Yes, as an LTCF holder you can "borrow" and carry anyones handgun.

"Loans" are prohibited on handguns per 18PACS §6115
BUT, an exemption to the prohibition is is the person receiving the firearm is an LTCF holder.

.
Quote:
§ 6115. Loans on, or lending or giving firearms prohibited.
(a) Offense defined.--No person shall make any loan secured
by mortgage, deposit or pledge of a firearm, nor, except as
provided in subsection (b), shall any person lend or give a
firearm to another or otherwise deliver a firearm contrary to
the provisions of this subchapter.
(b) Exception.--
(1) Subsection (a) shall not apply if any of the
following apply:
(i) The person who receives the firearm is licensed
to carry a firearm under section 6109 (relating to
licenses).

So as long as we both have LTCF's then we are able to carry one anothers guns?

Thanks for the replies Rich and keep your head up. People here in Scranton are behind you and we hope that this becomes an educational experience for LEO's in the state and especially the DA's office.

Yes, you can.

...However, the DCPD and Lackawanna DA seem to be unable to read the plain language of the law so do at your own risk while in Lackawanna CO

PS: Thanks again for the support

Pa. Patriot...

Do you ever actually get any work done at your day job?

I really wish I could afford to hire you and a couple other members here as full-time consultants to do nothing but answer questions for forum members.

I'd rep 'ya... AGAIN... but I've gotta spread the love more
