Beretta PX4 storm. I have shot someones 9mm px4 right before my .40 and there is no difference in felt recoil, this is due to the rotating block design like the beretta cougars have, its eats up alot of felt recoil. And its a great carry gun I carry it everyday...easiest pistol to field strip in the history of handguns IMO, and the px4's are the most reliable pistol to date (per Beretta USA) and i can agree with that...awesome gun!

CZs will run you under $400

Steyr M40A1 will run you $350 from CDNN

Both pistols aren't well known to the majority of people, but they are very good pistols.

I wouldn't go that far, Beretta makes a fine gun don't get me wrong, but it's only been out for what, less than 2 years? In that amount of time, how does anyone know if it's "the most reliable"?

Manufacturers always claim that their newest gun is the most innovative, most reliable... Untill their next gun comes out.

Someone on the Beretta Forum or has over 100,000 rounds without a hiccup...I personally have 1600 problem free rounds through mine...its a glock killer if you ask me. And the direct loading system has almost no angle to make up going into the feedramp, it eats almost any ammo...I cant say enough about it. Only thing i dont like is the "glow in the dark" sights...Night sites are much better other than that Its a proven gun...look at some reviews, many have well over 20,000 rounds without a hiccup do yourself a favor and research it before you discount it for being too new...Beretta has been around since 1526...they know how to make a gun by now IMHO.

Someone on a forum...no comment.

Like I said, Beretta makes a fine gun. I leave it up to the firearms comapnies to debate which is the "most reliable"

Very reliable. Sure, I won't argue with that.
