How much was the v2 lever and how hard was it to install? I've wanted to do this to mine for quite some time...

Ummm...i THINK the total price was around 30 bucks, I cant really remember. As far as installing it, it's pretty straight forward, but you gotta pay attention to what you are doing when you take things apart, cause some things WILL go flying if you're not careful, and you gotta remember where everything goes back in. I have some nifty walkthroughs with pictures I can link you to.

The hardest part about the lever is actually getting ahold of customer service at H&K.

Default Re: Heckler&Koch USP Compact

ive owned many HK products and they have been the most trouble free of any handgun ive had.

not a single malfunction for my USP 9, USP compact 40 & 45, P2000SK 9 and 40.

higher priced than alot of other stuff out there, but they have always worked for me and that makes the price a non issue.

HK SL8 in .223
USP .40 Full / Stainless
USP .45 Full / Stainless

God, do I love them. I've spoiled myself on HK, and every pistol I get from here on out will be an HK. No compromise.

I will agree with the OP, the grips do feel like a cinder block. Get a Hogue Handall for it - Best accessory buy so far.
