Taurus 85 Range Report

Ok So I finally got to take the snubby 38 , you know the one that caused me all the trouble with PICS , to the range. Wow all I can say is I thought these things were not very accurate but I swear I can shoot this little thing better then my full size autos. I dont know why but I can just hold this thing so rock solid and it just feels right in my hand that I was shooting pretty well with it. It functioned flawlessly and as you can see from the pics it is damn accurate. All the shots are fired from 10 and 12 yards. I fired one cylinder full off the +p personal protection rounds I have to see what they were like. I fired it DA and SA and even though the DA is a pretty hard pull I was still on target , the semi fliers on the targets all happened during DA shooting. SA is very quick and crisp with zero creep. This is my first revolver so I really cant compare it to anything these are just my impressions of the day. I am pleasently surprised with this thing and now I need to get a different revolver cuzz the bug bit me.

Nice. I have an 85 as well but I don't take it to the range very often. However, it is a nice little carry piece. I have a fabric clip on IWB holster for it and I can wear it with gym shorts its so light. Good shootin!
