Damn! $399? WTF?! I just bought my NIB XD9 service Bi-tone 2 weeks ago, and it was over $500! XD is a good gun. Its accurate, and dependable, I'm going to carry mine. Its that dependable. Only thing I don't care about mine is that I got one with no nightsight, and I had to drop it off to gunsmith to replace sight(They are BITCH to move!) Be sure to let us know how it shoot!

Congrats on your purchase1 I have the same one and love it. So far I have put about 1500 rounds through it and not a single FTF or any other issue.
Good luck and good shooting! |

Almost as good as the deal I got when I bought my XD40 last year for $365. Add $30 shipping, PA sales tax(seller was near Pittsburgh..DOH!) then xfer fees. As expressed on other posts, the XD40 didn't work out for me, but hopefully you will like the caliber. I've since gone Glock and 45acp.

you won't be disappointed.
I have an XD .40 service model, too. approx. 1200-1300 rounds through it with 0 FTF, FTE or jams, period! Paid $430 for mine about a year ago NIB at Target Master. Only upgrade to mine is the Dawson fixed precision sights, which ran me like $120 installed. I'm looking to get a trigger job after I get my CZ. Remember though, the gun only shoots as good as the person pulling the trigger (not saying you can't shoot), so make sure you dry fire, dry fire and do some more dry firing if you can't hit the range often.
