Default Just got a Glock 27 Need advice

I just bought a Glock 27 from Gunbroker.com. Its a real nice piece and got a fair deal on it. Went to shoot it and it seems to shoot a little to the right (about 6 inches)and a little low (about 4 inches).. MY buddy suggests maybe its operator error and it could be but I am consistent in my error. Does this sound like operator error or do you think it is really off? How do I adjust sights? Is it even worth the trouble?
Thanks,
Bobby

I have never had an issue with any of my Glocks or any others I've shot.

I had a 5o'clock that would show up now and then, kept on adjusting my trigger finger. Soon I lived with it, and would just adjust my sighting. One day I figured it wouldn't hurt to get some professional instruction and I contacted Paul Piscator (padona@epix.net ). After his help, the 5 o'clock was gone, this whole time it was my grip and my off-hand thumb placement. To simplify, because I was afraid of getting my thumb close to the slide, and slide lock, I kept doing weird things unconsciously, so I got some weird rotation.

Point is, have someone trained watch you shoot. For a couple of bucks, my game has been greatly improved.

Tom

At the six O'clock position it says Wrist breaking down, pushing forward or drooping head.

What do they mean by drooping head? Is it leaning your head to one side to line up the sites?

Are you right or left handed?

If the sights are centered in the slide, it should be shooting straight.

a sure way to find out is get a bore sighter and some snap caps. these are tools that will improve your shooting on any gun and good to have anyway. with the bore sighter in dry fire and watch if the laser jumps when you pull the trigger. also, do you have any mags with the pearce extension? those greatly increase your grip on the gun as well w/o adding too much bulk for cc. or you can take it to the range and have someone else shoot it and see what happens.

Ball and dummy works fine too.....have your buddy load up your magazine w/ a dud/ dummy round in there....if your gun moves when the gun goes "click", it's you.

Thanks for all who replied. I am going to make some personal adjustments (me) before I mess with the sights.
Thanks,
Bobby
