My opinion: I would liken it to saying that a true friend would not let his drunk buddy go home with a fat chick. I don't know you, but I would tell you that it would be ill advised for you to buy a Hi-Point. I think that you will regret it later, but to each his own I guess. I would not get into a fight with my buddy who is about to go home with a fat chick.

Funny. I was thinking about this thread earlier and I would equate the Hi-point to that ugly drunk girl at the end of the night.

Not something you go bragging to your friends about, but gets the job done.

Please tell me where you're getting any Hi-Points, except MAYBE the .380s, OTD for 140.

Two years ago, 9mm pistol base models were 99 on sale weeks. 1.5 years ago, 380s were 99 on sale weeks. Today, you're not getting a new C-9 for less than 150 whether you have it shipped in or get it at a store.

I guess a used c-9 could go OTD for 140. And I guess you could send the whole thing in for a tune-up because of their warranty, where they might just send you a new gun. I guess that's a curious probability, come to think of it.

I open carried my C-9 at the borough council meeting last week and nobody laughed. Kind of hard not to notice it with Desert Tan grips.

I like mine. It works. Okay, so it's ugly.
