Default Should I buy the Glock 26?

I'm thinking about buying the Glock 26 within the next week. Just want to hear your opinion of the weapon. I'd also like to know if you think there is a different weapon I should look at that is comparable to the G26. I'm looking for something that is relatively easy to conceal. Thanks.

If you want to stick with 9mm then I will say yes, buy it. However, I would recommend the 27, same gun but in a .40.

I would personally step up to a G19 just because it has a full grip and is still very easy to conceal. I'm also a big fan of it fits, go for it. If you haven't shot one I would certainly recommend making every attempt to try before you buy. I've shot one quite a few times and don't really care for the lack of size.

Before you buy a G26 check out the subcompact Springfield XD.

The question is: HOW are you going to conceal it? Belt holster?

I had a G26 for a while then sold it. Why? For me, it was neither fish nor fowl. It wasn't small or light enough to be a pocket gun. I don't use a fanny pack (for which it might be ideal). Given that, it has to be carried in a belt holster, and at that point, it doesn't conceal any better than the G19, which is a non-gimmicky gun with a real handle. IOW, once a gun is big enough that it has to be belt-holstered, it might as well be big enough to use easily.

That's what I went through, at any rate.

after getting a few guns from my dad after coming back from iraq, i had a fair amount of both range guns and a few pistols. i carried a ruger p97 45 for a few weeks until i realized that i always have to have a damn hoodie to conceal the monster. i decided to splurge and buy the glock 26 for myself. it fits in my pants pocket just fine. im not a fan of actual belt or paddle holsters, as my shirts can never cover those things right.

ive been carrying my glock 26 in my front pocket now for a few months with no trouble. i have no problem with the gun, ive put at least 1500 rounds through it without a single misfire and i take it with me whenever i can, i recommend the glock 26.

I'm going to carry IWB at 1230. I have pretty small hands so the G26 fits pretty well in my hand.

Glock 26 is a great little gun. SO is the XD Subcompact.

Look at the Smith & Wesson M&P Compact 9mm before you buy. It's my current carry gun. Made in the USA, 3 sizes of back straps, same size as G26, comes with 2 mags and 2 more free in the mail if you buy in Aug.

Look at those three poly guns before you buy.

G26 + COMP TAC MInotaur Mtac = Perfect.

I have too many rounds through my G26 (upwards of 10,000), zero problems of any kind, I'm accurate as hell with it, and it's a comfortable CCW.

Absolutely at least TRY the G26. You'll be hooked. However, I wouldn't rec. 12:30 carrying with an IWB. Move it to 3:30/4 ish.
