Default Re: Carry A Firearm

The only times I have had an issue carrying was while in NYC and the People's Republic of NJ. Since I had permits for both at the time they were easy to square away but uncomfortable experiences. Since moving to PA I haven't had an issue. I carry probably 60% of the time, depends on where I'm going and what I'm wearing, I really need to get a "pocket" gun for shorts.
Most times when I carry it's on the hip, occasionally in a shoulder rig. You'll need to figure out what works for you.
Since you're already taking classes I would suggest the F.I.R.E. Institute's website http://www.fireinstitute.org/
I've taken a few classes with them and they are a great group. The Tactical Handgun is one of the best classes I've taken to date. It was chilly here in PA but I learned a lot. I took it again in FL and it was hot but I learned even more.
Enjoy!
